Year 8s take part in poetry workshops, as part of Steph’s Poetry Space project

Year 8 students have taken part in two poetry workshops as part of the Steph’s Poetry Space project. The scheme, run by The Poetry Society, aims to bring together poetry, creativity and well-being through poetry workshops.

The students wrote poems individually in the first workshop, and in groups in the second workshop. Local poet and rapper Danny Carlo was the poet leading the workshops, commenting on how much fun it was to work with Fairfield students again.
