University of Bristol run carousel of Maths workshops for Y10 students
On Friday 6th May, PGCE maths students from the University of Bristol came to Fairfield to work with our Year 10 students. They ran a carousel of workshops to help our young people revise all of the maths that they have learnt this year.
The PGCE students were impressed with all of our students, without exception; our Year 10s were welcoming, enthusiastic and clearly very talented.
The picture below shows some of the comments made about our students:

We are very grateful to the University of Bristol for helping to support the education of our students through these workshops and the work of PGCE students on placement here.
We are also proud of the role that Fairfield plays in its continuing close work with the University of Bristol to contribute to the development of the next generation of Mathematics teachers within the city.
