Term 2’s Basketball & Rugby success

Rugby

The Year 9 boys put in an outstanding performance beating Orchard 60-0. The whole squad were a credit to the school and showed tremendous work rate throughout the game; special mention to Aleem, Otis and David who contributed most of the points on the night. 

Basketball

Both the Junior and Senior basketball teams have made a great start to their respective basketball seasons with 3 wins out of 3. The Juniors beat SMRT 42-14, BBA 29-19 and Bristol MET 46-32. Stand out performers for the Juniors so far have been David, Billy and Manni.

The seniors also have a 100% record beating SMRT 52-40, BBA 42-26 and Bristol MET 63-26; notable mentions for Moss and Freddy who have contributed the most points so far. Both teams will have two fixtures next term against St Bede’s and Bristol Free School as they bid to become Bristol Champions.
