Science class’s work with Action for Conservation
Tutor group 7M have been working with Action for Conservation, a charity working to raise environmental awareness and lead positive action among young people. They have taken part in four sessions during their science lessons to complete a range of activities including a bioblitz of the school grounds, wildflower ID quizzes and treasure hunts, wildflower planting and nest box building.
Next term they have been invited to the charity’s headquarters in the Brecon Beacons to help out with the rewilding of the farm; we look forward to sharing an account of this together with photos.
