Poetry Workshop inspires Years 10 & 11

Year 10 & 11 students were lucky enough to take part in a poetry workshop run by Caleb Parkin, Bristol’s City Poet for 2020-2022.

Students experienced a range of poetry and had the opportunity to write their own poems that reflect their own identity. The workshop was run as part of Bristol’s Lyra Poetry Festival, supported by Arts Council England.

As a result, attendees were encouraged to consider themselves for the role of Bristol’s next City Youth Poet… Watch this space!
