Fairfield Languages Week

Fairfield Languages Week took place for the third year with houses competing fiercely to win by collecting language tokens and taking part in activities around the school.

These included a Sambar dance workshop (see photos below) and taster sessions in Italian, Japanese, British Sign Language, plus more. Students also took part in a Spanish spelling bee and watched Spanish cartoons.

Bristol University came in to talk to older students about the benefits of learning a language and life at university.

Congratulations to Ruby house for wining the third year in a row, closely followed by Sapphire. No other house has beaten Ruby house yet!
