Fairfield Languages Week proves a success

An important annual celebration for Team Fairfield is our successful and widely celebrated Languages Week; Fairfield is very committed to students learning languages as responsible global citizens, with the aim being to celebrate and have fun with languages, talk about languages and learn more about why we learn languages.

This year students competed in house groups to earn tokens for participation. Congratulations to Ruby House, who were the overall winners and will be rewarded with a continental breakfast.

The Languages Faculty was very impressed with how enthusiastic students were about this week and it was great to hear so many different languages being spoken. A special thank you to staff at Elmfield school for offering a British Sign Language (BSL) taster session, which was very popular.
