Donation of knitted organs of digestive system
Our Science Department extended a plea to our community, who came through for us, as always.
You may remember from a previous newsletter article that we asked for some knitted organs of the digestive system. A grandmother grandmother of one of our Year 11s very kindly sent in these.
This lady can often be found knitting items for people during lockdown like hats for the homeless and bonnets for newborns.
These contributions will come in useful for children who are a bit squeamish or perhaps need a little extra help visualising the organs.
A HUGE Fairfield thank you to the lady responsible for this, we are extremely grateful.
