Cross-Curricular Creativity bridges Art & English

Students and teachers from English and Art have been working together on a creative project. Using student photography and artwork as inspiration, students have written poetry and flash fiction in response. Students have also written essay responses to the question, ‘What is Life?’ English teacher Mr Sinclair explained the title of ‘Winning’: “During this challenging year, it has been easy to focus on the difficulties brought by the pandemic. However, these poems, paintings, essays and artwork are each a story of success in the year of the pandemic.”
