Year 9 students attend Women in Maths event

Year 9 students attended an Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP): Women in Maths event at UWE Campus.

They became storm chasers, data storytellers and met women in maths who work all around UWE’s campus. According to its website, AMSP supports the teaching and learning of Core Maths, AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. It is a DfE-funded initiative, providing support for teachers and students in state-funded schools and colleges in England.
