Well done to all our young sportspeople

Fairfield has had a fantastic Boys Rugby season, with fantastic numbers coming to training every week culminating with Years 7-9 having an end of season Rugby Festival vs Central Schools including Trinity, Cathedral and Bristol Met.

Fairfield hosted the Year 7 and 9 Festival at the Rec and came an impressive second place in both. The Year 8 Rugby festival was hosted at Whitehall Rugby Club with Fairfield walking away the eventual winners! 

The boys have also had an impressive start to the Basketball season with the Junior team winning both of their games so far vs Orchard School and Cotham School. The Senior Boys Basketball Team have also won their only game of the season so far with a win over close rivals Cotham School.

Fairfield Girls football has had an increase in numbers, with lots of Year 7s showing considerable interest (see below). Fairfield even managed to enter two teams into the EFL cup festival, whereas normally it is just the one. Both teams showed massive team spirit and endeavour when playing, plus lots of the girls have been attending the Bristol Rovers club on Thursday.

In other news, Emma Knight- Lebel Year 10 came third in the Bristol Schools X-Country Trials and will now represent Bristol Schools in the Avon Championships in January. Congratulations!
