U14 Boys Basketball Team (pictured) went through the season winning all of their games, beating Cathedral 47-4, Cotham 100-40, St Bedes 86-30 and Orchard 78-33.
We then faced St Mary Redcliffe in the Semi Final which we won 48-45 to reach the Bristol Schools Basketball Final. We will now face St Bede’s again in the final which is Scheduled for Thursday 30th at Fairfield.
We’ve also had our most successful Football season ever with four and out of our five teams teaching the Quarter final stage.
Year 7 beat Cathedral 8-1, Orchard 3-1, were handed a walkover by City academy and drew with Redland Green and Trinity; unfortunately though against Bristol Free School they lost 4-0 at home.
Year 8 improved on last season where they beat Cathedral 4-2, and Orchard 3-1, were awarded a draw with trinity and lost to Redland and City Academy.
Year 9 beat Cathedral 10-0, City academy 8-0, were awarded a 1-0 win vs Orchard and a draw with Redland. They then faced Blaise in the Quarter final which they won 5-1; they followed this by beating Oasis Brislington 6-0 in the semis and now await the final – the first time in over 18 years!
Year 10 beat Redland 2-1, and were awarded a win against City academy, and a draw against Cathedral. They played Oasis Brightstowe in the Quarter final and lost 2-0.
Year 11 Beat Redland 1-0, Orchard 1-0 and were awarded a win against City Academy and a draw vs Cathedral. In the quarter finals they lost 1-0 to Bristol Free School. A close match.
