World Canteen to feature Greta Thunberg inspired noticeboard

In connection with the Humanities department, Eco Team has been working on a new display in the canteen. In line with Fairfield’s global citizenship, alongside aiming to empower Fairfield students to participate within social action, the Greta Thunberg “You are never too small to make a difference” display board hopes to leave a lasting environmental and political action legacy.

Moreover, the display reflects the wider community’s position on climate change and global heating. Bristol is an environmentally progressive place with a history of strong social action; from climate strikes to challenging historical narratives.

Year 7 Eco Team members Edith and Oscar worked on the Greta Thunberg display and led the decision-making process from design to placement.

Canteen lunches may take on a more environmental spin yet…
