Students’ ideas for Colston Statue plinth

Year 8 and 9 Art & Engineering students responded to a Live Brief from The People’s Platform, designing and illustrating who or what they would like to see replace the Colston Statue on the empty plinth. Students were encouraged to submit their own designs and write about themselves and their designs. A varied selection will be chosen to and brought to life in the digital realm and occupy the plinth in the city centre on rotation.
