Rugby session to encourage female engagement a success

Off the back of Bristol Bears Rugby community project within schools, nine of our girls opted to branch out further by attending a free session at St Mary’s Old Boys Rugby Football Club, led by the Bears to encourage female engagement in rugby.

Fairfield had the highest turn out from any school, which is fantastic, especially as it was the students’ responsibility to attend and physically travel to the session.
