Sandwich and Brunch creations

Well done to our Food Technology students for their creativity and vision with some recent tasks.

Year 11 GCSE students had just one hour to design, prepare, cook and clean up two meals on the theme of brunch. They researched where and why brunch started and the reasons for its popularity before impressing us with the finished results.

Year 9 students were tasked with designing a sandwich. It sounds simple, but actually more of a challenge to come up with unique ideas whilst using favourite sandwich fillers. They too had just one hour to put on their creativity hats and get to work. The class judged the entries with the winners receiving a prize.

Well done to all involved for their terrific ideas and hard work.
