Overwhelming response to Food Bank Appeal

Congratulations to everyone who donated to this year’s Food Bank shoebox appeal for families in need. The support was overwhelming and a BIG thank you to the many student helpers for collecting/delivering donations and for packing these into the minibus for taking to the local South and East Bristol Food Bank. Thank you especially to Mrs Rapps, Miss Haspineall, Mr Mears, Mr Roderick and Ms Cronin for their help in making this project happen.

As you can see, donations included a fantastic array of the following, together with Argos vouchers so that families can choose an appropriate gift for their children.

• Tinned chicken/ham/vegetarian substitute
• Gravy
• Stuffing
• Tinned Vegetables
• Savoury Crackers
• Cranberry Sauce
