Children in Need Fundraising Efforts
Well done to our Heads of House who, in an I’m a Celebrity style, endured a rather disgusting cocktail of ingredients all in aid of Children in Need in Fairfield’s very own ‘Tiers of Torment’. Imagine a generous helping of mint sauce, marmite, curry powder, cottage cheese, mustard, ketchup, beans, custard and lemon juice…. All blended into one cup!
Our fab four held their noses and dived in, much to the amusement of staff and students who, due to COVID restrictions, could only enjoy the event virtually afterwards.
These efforts, together with a staff cookie and hamper sale, raised a terrific £550.
Natalie Thompson, Head of Sapphire House comments: “We are pleased and proud to have raised over £500 at a time when purse strings have been drawn and we are limited with activities that we can put on. This was our toughest challenge to date; there are no words to describe the concoction we were made to endure, but with Team Pudsey firmly in our minds we pushed on and even managed empty cups!”
