Message from our Assistant Vice Principal about Behaviour
Well done to all students for a smooth start to the school year, especially bearing in mind the changes about becoming device free. A number of young people have fed back that this has been a positive move and are enjoying a variety of clubs such as retro games, chess and stitch it, in addition to card games such as Uno. Please keep bringing in cards and trying new games.
Students are also responding well to wearing to the introduction of black trainers to the school uniform – a reminder of our full uniform and policy can be found here.
Please can all families ensure they have signed up to Class Charts – it is a great way to keep in touch with the behaviours of students and praise them for the achievements they are making, as well as an opportunity to ask students questions about the not so positive behaviours.
If families have any suggestions of guest speakers, counsellors or agencies we can liaise with, please let us know, so that we can continue to inspire and support our students. We would particularly like to work with those from global majority backgrounds or those with intersectionality.
Finally, families please look out for information about Enrichment activities coming up in Term 2.
Thank you all for your collective efforts.
