Have your say – Consultation on BCC Alternative Learning Provision commissioning strategy
Have your say. Tell us what you think about the council’s draft strategy for delivering ALP services in Bristol.
Alternative Learning Provision (ALP) is where children and young people can receive an education if they aren’t able to remain in school full-time. This can be for health reasons, exclusion, or because they need some additional support. Bristol’s vision is for ALP that helps young people achieve their full potential, at all stages of their education journey.
The draft strategy is based on input from children and young people, parents/carers, schools (including ALP schools) and other education professionals.
Before we produce a final strategy, it is important to hear people’s views on the proposals. All the suggestions and comments received will be considered and may be included in the final version of the strategy.
