Former parent & Governor awarded MBE

Congratulations to Sandra Meadows, a much respected former Fairfield parent and Governor, who has recently been awarded an MBE for services to the community of Bristol during COVID-19.

Those that remember Sandra will probably echo these comments from Fairfield’s Janice Callow:

“Sandra was a fantastic Governor, a critical friend who was quick to see opportunities to take the school forward, generous with her time and unfailingly warm and supportive to staff. We very much appreciated her astute mind and creative approach to any situation. We are delighted that Sandra has been formally recognised in this way.”
