FHS Bike Repair Kits

As part of our current collaboration with Sustrans to promote active, sustainable travel to school, it has donated equipment for minor bike repairs. This will be kept at reception for staff and students to access in the event of a problem with bikes.

There are two boxes:

The Green Box: Higher value equipment (Tools etc)

This equipment can be borrowed for on site repairs – There is an inventory and sign out sheet which should be completed when items are borrowed and returned on the same day.

The White box: Lower value bike parts (inner tubes etc)

This contains parts that students/staff can take, use and either return (in the case of a lock or light) or replace (in the case of an inner tube). Again, there is a sheet in the box where people can record what they have taken. They will be expected to return the items to reception and the paperwork includes space to reception staff to confirm returns.
