Fairfield hosts explosive indoor fireworks display for Year 5 students

In April Fairfield hosted its annual explosive indoor fireworks display, inviting Year 5 students from May Park and Fairlawn primaries to enjoy the fun. Bristol-based pyrotechnical expert and science educator Matthew Tosh sparked students’ imaginations–and senses–in his multimedia presentation.

Donavan Shand, Year 7 Achievement Coordinator comments: “We value our relationships with local primary schools and know from previous years that this event is a special one in their calendar. This is just another element to our carefully crafted transition programme, designed to make the transition from primary to secondary as smooth as possible.”
