Fairfield hosts Collaborative Learning Conference
Fairfield recently hosted a Collaborative Learning Conference, as part of our work with Schools of Tomorrow (SOTO). This opportunity arose in order to share some of the collaborative work that has been happening with staff and students across the school through the lens of meaningful inclusion and representation of our community.
Students from a variety of our activism groups presented to SOTO leaders, staff and students from schools in Amsterdam and Barcelona. They also gave tours of Fairfield so that our guests could see the school and witness learning in progress.
The day ended with students hearing from guests about their school contexts abroad and considering how they can work more collaboratively in their schools and within the Fairfield community.
There was lots of sharing of social media information making it a very positive, educational experience for all.
