Engineering and Art students’ sustainability workshop

We were fortunate to host a visit from Lia and Brandon from the company Max Fordham who came to do a workshop with some of our Year 10 Engineering and Art pupils to speak about their roles as engineers at a national company that specialises in sustainability.

Pupils worked in teams to design and draw buildings suited to different climates, and come up with ways of using the local environment to produce amenities to their building in a sustainable way. They were also able to ask questions and find out about routes into a company that deals with engineering, design and architecture.
