A busy & exciting year for UKMT Maths Challenges

It has been a very exciting and busy year for the UKMT Maths Challenges.

We started the year with the Maths Olympiad for Girls, where four of our Year 11 students showed some amazing skills.

The Intermediate Maths Challenge was in October, and Team Fairfield achieved some excellent results, with six students: Martha, Felix, Charlie, Saanvi, Milo and Rudy receiving invitations for the second round, the Kangaroo Maths. A very special mention to Milo and Martha who achieved Gold certificates in their round, excellent work.

The Junior Maths Challenge (Years 7 and 8) was at the start of June. Students tried very hard to complete all the questions, and six of them were invited to the next round: Huxley, Reggie, Rufus, Noah, Fraser and Zoe. Special mention to Huxley and Zoe that achieved almost perfect scores in their rounds.
