Fairfield High School Stands United Against Bullying
Fairfield High School celebrated Anti-Bullying Week in style, with a range of engaging activities that highlighted the importance of kindness, inclusion, and standing up against bullying. This year’s theme, “Odd Socks,” encouraged students and staff to embrace their individuality and celebrate what makes everyone unique.
Throughout the week, pupils wore odd socks to symbolise their commitment to anti-bullying. They also unleashed their creativity by designing their own odd socks, which resulted in some truly imaginative and colourful creations. These designs were proudly displayed across the school, creating a vibrant atmosphere that underscored the message of unity and acceptance.

In tutor time, students participated in meaningful activities aimed at raising awareness and providing practical tools to combat bullying. They completed surveys to reflect on their experiences and perspectives, explored the difference between friendly banter and harmful bullying, and discussed ways to stay safe online, including tips on privacy settings and digital etiquette.
A special highlight of the week was the recognition of three exceptional staff members—Kirsty Tuffley, Lenaee Hamilton, and Hannah Hall—who were nominated by pupils for the National Anti-Bullying Awards. Their dedication and positive impact on the school community were celebrated, and their nominations are a testament to their unwavering commitment to supporting students.
Anti-Bullying Week at Fairfield High School was a resounding success, fostering a culture of respect and kindness. A big thank you to all the students and staff who participated and made this important initiative so impactful!
Together, we continue to make Fairfield High School a safe and inclusive environment for all.
