George shines for Bristol City Cerebral Palsy Football Club
We would like to recognise George Hunter, who plays a high standard of football for Bristol City Cerebral Palsy football club, and who will soon be travelling to Ireland and Scotland as part of a Club Tournament.
Speaking with George, it is clear that this opportunity is extremely important to him: “It helps people with Cerebral Palsy that like to play football, as they can make friends with others with the same condition and who have similar interests. It’s a sociable activity to do whilst keeping you fit.”
George also elaborated on the opportunities which being a part of this club brings, such as tours around Ashton Gate, meeting members of the female Bristol City team and travelling to Bournemouth Football Club to watch them play, to name just a few.
George would like to thank the Robin’s Foundation, whose support and generosity has been second-to-none with providing kits and tickets to Bristol City matches. He also praises his coach for his patience, understanding and skill to help his players thrive.
We look forward to following Year 10 George on his flourishing journey and wish him all the best for the forthcoming tournament.
