Supporting White Ribbon Day: Cake sale for a safer future for women & girls

White Ribbon Day is on 25th November and celebrated internationally to raise awareness of global violence against women and girls; Fairfield takes pride in recognising this important day and its associated message every year.

This year, Fairfield Feminist Society (Fem Soc.) organised enough white ribbons for every tutor group and staff member in the school to wear a ribbon if they wanted to, created pledge posters and made their own slides to be shared in tutor time.

Fem Soc. designed posters to advertise a bake sale at break time and were blown away by how many students made delicious bakes to raise money for the White Ribbon Day charity. The bake sale raised £106.64… a new record for Fem Soc.!
