Refuge thanks Fem Soc for the money raised whilst recognising White Ribbon & International Women’s Day
Well done to Fem Soc for creating the brilliant posters below, and baking for both White Ribbon Day and International Women’s Day, contributing to the total raised for Refuge. The £157 donation was paid and we were delighted to receive the following message from the charity:
To the students and staff at Fairfield High School,
On behalf of everyone at Refuge, I wanted to say a huge thank you for raising an incredible £157.00 from your bake sale to support women and their children experiencing domestic abuse. We really appreciate you choosing to support Refuge again.
Refuge continues to be there – for the thousands of women and their children rebuilding their lives free from fear and abuse. Between April 2023 and March 2024, we supported 25,361 women and their children.
Thanks to supporters like you, we’re able to continue to help even more women and children in their toughest moments.
The money you have raised could provide a refuge with outdoor games for children to play with, and for that we are forever grateful.
We really appreciate your amazing support, and I would love to personally keep you updated about upcoming opportunities at Refuge as one of our valued fundraising superstars. I would be very happy to share how you can stay involved with Refuge’s vital work for women if this is something you would be interested in? If I don’t hear back from you, I will assume you would prefer not to hear more about this.
If you have any questions about Refuge or your fundraising, please let us know.
Otherwise, thank you once again for supporting Refuge!
Well done to Fem Soc – keep up the good work.
