Fundraising efforts for the victims of the Valencia flooding
In line with its values and holistic approach, Team Fairfield, led by Blanca Gimenez, Emotional Literacy Support and Spanish Language Assistant, organised a sweet/savoury and craft stall to raise money for the terrible damage particularly to schools, that the recent flooding brought to Valencia, Spain.
As many will know, the situation was dire, with buildings and surrounding areas full of mud and water, with a number of people at the time unable to leave their houses.
Due to the generosity of Fairfield staff, a fantastic 500 euros was raised.
Blanca Gimenez comments: “I can’t express how happy and supported I have felt with donations of food, lifts, setting up, serving and cleaning away afterwards. The bake sale wouldn’t have been possible without all of the Fairfield team who are like a family and support one other.”
