University of Bristol Open Days – 14 & 15 June
Students can register their interest for the University of Bristol’s summer 2024 Open Days, taking place on 14 and 15 June. Students aged 16 and over can attend unaccompanied by an adult. This is a great opportunity for students to find out about the range of courses that are available at university level, even if they don’t intend to apply to the University of Bristol. On Open Days there are lots of informal opportunities to ask questions of student ambassadors, teaching staff and support services staff. An example itinerary may include the following:
· Attending a facilities tour for a specific course, e.g. ‘Film and Television student-led tour’ or ‘Physics student-led tour’.
· Attend a taster lecture such as ‘Cancer Biology and Immunology at Bristol’ or a subject talk such as ‘How to choose an Engineering course’ .
· Each faculty will have an information point so visitors can ask questions and find out more even if they don’t get to attend a subject info talk, e.g. the Innovation and entrepreneurship information point
· Attend a Student Q&A session – ask questions about student life to current UoB students.
· Visit the Richmond Building where the Student Union is located to visit Careers Service info point / Disability services info point / Sports and Societies stands |
