Celebrating Young Carer’s Action Day

Wednesday 15th March was national Young Carer’s Action Day with the theme ‘make time for young carers’. This was celebrated at Fairfield on Friday 17th March at lunchtime when the usual weekly games club would take place. This celebration edition included cakes and the social media campaign set out by the carers trust, where our young careers got to write in anonymous speech bubbles how they would like time to be made for them in school and what they already benefit from.

This will no doubt be the start of many celebrations to come as we recognise our young carers.
