Stunning entries in the Mathematician poster competition
This year the Fairfield Maths department ran its annual famous mathematician poster competition with 2021 bringing the most creative, informative and striking entries yet. The standard was high across the board and the maths department would like to thank all our Year 7s for their hard work and welcome them to the school.
Although there were countless wonderful entries with so much variety, we had to narrow the submissions down to first, second and third place.
In 3rd place for the most informative and innovative poster was Remy’s entry on Charles Babbage:
In 2nd place for a blend of outstanding artwork combined with skilled research was Muhamad:
And in 1st place for the most beautiful, artistic and engaging poster was Cara:
