Bronze D of E expedition
On Friday 9th July, many Year 10 students completed their Bronze DofE expedition in the Forest of Dean. All of the teams had to work together to plan and organise their expedition around the Forest stopping off at given check points.
All the students had to complete at least a minimum of two days, one night and seven hours of planned activities each day. During the expedition the students had to complete an expedition aim, some groups chose to pick up litter, photograph wildlife and even create a song to ensure high spirits.
All of the students had to be unaccompanied and self-sufficient for the entire expedition. Students also had to plan an appropriate expedition menu, including cooking, and eating a substantial hot meal on each day.
