Pride month awards FHS with Author visit

Our Pride month has been awarded an author visit and book bundle by Just Like Us. The author is Sarah Hagger-Holt (pictured below) and the book bundle is sponsored by Usbourne Books. The author visit will take place in the next academic year. This was following a national competition as part of Just Like Us’s ‘School Diversity Week’. 

Just Like Us has been working with thousands of primary schools, secondary schools and colleges for five years, helping to make education more inclusive so that schools are happier, safer and more welcoming places for pupils who may be LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans) or have LGBT+ families (source).
