Years 7 & 8 shine at St Paul’s ‘Back a Yard’ celebration

After making elements of their costumes before half term, six weeks of classes with Louis Eboa, and several costume fittings later, our wonderful group of Year 7 and 8s performed to a packed out house at Circomedia as part of the St Paul’s Back a Yard celebrations.

With some students being away at Exmouth the week leading up to the performance and having never rehearsed in the space before, they did an outstanding job with a challenging dance and even more challenging headpieces! It was so lovely to see our parents enjoying the hard work the students had put in and the wider community getting together with students from St Werburgh’s Primary and Trinity Academy all celebrating Caribbean culture.
