BIMM – (Bristol Institute of Modern Music) offering free workshops
Please see details about an opportunity which may be of interest to students who are passionate about music and the creative industries. BIMM Institute is running two free workshops over half term and would love students to join in with the experience.
The workshops are open to 14 -18 years and will be delivered in two streams: 14 – 15 years and 16 -18 years. Students can choose between the two workshops below or join us for both! Events are free to attend and are delivered over Zoom.
Wednesday 17th February 12pm – 2pm: Songwriting Workshop
The topline melody of any song is key to its success and popularity. In this session, we will explore how to create catchy and memorable music that stays with you! Join our industry experts as they pass on some tips and tricks.

Thursday 18th February 12pm – 2pm: Music Production for Game Workshop
From shattering glass, to epic explosions, discover how the sounds are created on your favourite video games.
Our experts will show you how sounds are recorded, mixed, and edited to create some of the game industry’s most iconic sounds. See the sounds created, added to real game footage and pick up some tips and tricks so you can try it at home.
