National Art Competition to mark 60th Anniversary of Race Relations Act
Following the success of the Bristol Bus Boycott 360 campaign, Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust is teaming up again with Curiosity UnLtd, a Bristol-based think tank known for driving conversations around racial equity and social justice. This time to launch a national art competition, inviting creatives across the UK to reflect on and respond to the legacy of the Race Relations Act 1965.
Entries are NOW OPEN to individuals aged 18+ with submissions closing at midnight on 4th July 2025. Regardless of background, talent levels or design styles, 10 winners will have their original artworks showcased on our digital screens at bus stops and in shopping malls across the UK, seen by millions of people. The 10 winning designs will also have a chance to win:
- £250 per winning entry.
- Get exposure through press, social media, and other coverage opportunities.
- A Designs4Change goodie bag including a signed copy of Paul Stephenson’s Memoirs and tickets to Forwards Festival.
