Free Creative Courses
We are delighted to share details of FREE Spring creative courses for 11-16 year olds, both online and in person.
Please see below for further details and how to sign up:
- The ten week long courses run from 11th Jan-26th March 2021
- They all offer the opportunity to do a Level 1 Bronze Arts Award qualification
- There will be an end of term showcase for all of the work produced
Online:
- *NEW* Art – group session 5-5.30pm every Tuesday, individual check in Tuesday/Thursday evening on Zoom
Interested in producing your own artwork? Experiment and play with techniques such as print making, collage and drawing.
- Fashion – group session 5-5.30pm every Thursday, individual check in Thursday/Friday evening on Zoom
Interested in styling and making your own garments? Experiment with a range of techniques and have a go at your own upcycling project.
In person:
- Puppet Making – 5-7pm every Wednesday at Kingswood Estate, BS15 8DB
Want to make your very own puppet? Use a variety of different materials learn to sculpt, design and create.
- Animation – 5-7pm every Tuesday at The Park, BS4 1DQ
Get a taste of what it’s like to bring characters to life. Try out different stop motion animation techniques and make your own short film.
- Craft & Textiles – 5-7pm every Wednesday at The Park, BS4 1DQ
Interested in crafting? Experiment and play with a range of textile techniques to create different pieces.
- *NEW* Music – Southmead (coming soon, express your interest on the sign up form)

To avoid disappointment please do this sooner rather than later as places will be given on a first come first served basis, once a course is full any further enquiries will go onto the waiting list. Priority will also be given to those who have not attended a course already.
